Cheryl Paulette Bowman, Ed.D., Secretary

Dr. Bowman’s personal background includes foreign residence and extensive travel. Her credentials include anthropology, bilingual and multicultural education, leadership, and administration. As a K-12 educator, she has served culturally and linguistically diverse student populations. She has worked as an Accountability Specialist, Instructional Coach, and School Improvement Coach for a large urban school district; and she has developed and taught college-level curriculum in such areas as classroom management, restorative practices, and second language learning. Dr.Bowman has considerable experience as a community volunteer, most notably as a Chair of a Community Justice Board.
